Here's just a small sampling of the wonderful and fun activities you can do at Eagle Lake.
motor boating/fishing
We rent motor boats, from June to August. Our 14 ft boats seat 4 comfortably, and are perfect for fishing. Our local staff can give you recommendations for where and what to fish for, maps, and a course on safe operation.
canoeing kayaking and paddle boards
We rent all kinds of watercraft including canoes, kayaks, paddle boards and all of the items you will need. Eagle Lake has a remarkable shoreline perfect for exploration.
bicycling and hiking
We rent bicycles and are on the Discovery Routes Trails, with the Eagle Lake South River Circle Route. There are several hiking trails in the area as well. The closest being the Beaver Meadow Trail in the Mikisew Provincial park 3 Km away. Our store also sells bug coats and repellent.
water sports
There is a beautiful sandy beach right out front, good for all your swimming and sand castle needs, and it’s great for star gazing as well. We are close to the public boat launch for those who enjoy water skiing and personal watercraft.
horseback riding
Stewart Coughlin Riding Ranch is just 6 Km down Eagle Lake Road on 129 Riding Ranch Road. There are pony rides for the very young and trail rides for others to experience.
Golfing
Less than 2 Km away, the Eagle Lake Golf Course is a 10 hole, 3000 yard par 40 golf course. Power carts, pull carts and club rental are available, including a fully stocked pro shop, dining and bar.
camping
Less than 3 Km away, the Mikisew Provincial Park provides camping in two campgrounds: The Hardwoods and The Pines. Each campground includes amenities such as flush toilets, showers and laundry facilities.
